Walraven Group opens sales office in China!
With the opening of a sales office in Shanghai, the Walraven Group continues to extend its
activities in Asia. For many years the Shanghai metropolis has been one of the largest centres for
building in the world. From the new office, Walraven will supply the many building projects in the
city and its surrounding areas.
Shanghai is the economical centre of China: with a population of 21 million, Shanghai is among the
biggest metropolises in the world. In the last 3 years Shanghai welcomed over 6 million new inhabitants
therefore extensive investments take place not only in hospitals, hotels, office buildings, shopping malls,
but also in energy plants and new infrastructure for example with subways and railroads.
For some years the Walraven Group has been in close cooperation with a Shanghai based partner
company. The new sales office has been established in conjunction with this solid partner. The sales
office is lead from the Netherlands, with daily management in hands of new Chinese colleagues that are
very familiar with the products and the local market.
The Walraven Group is an international operating company with its own production and sales companies
in various countries in Europe, the United States and now also in China. The family owned company has
over 700 employees world-wide that are active with the development, production and sales of innovative
fixing, fire protection and sanitary systems. The Walraven Group was established in 1942 in Mijdrecht
(the Netherlands) and has grown to be an important supplier to the world-wide HVAC industry.
