Due to the increasingly higher demands on our IT organization, we are looking for a:
projects – international – technical – wide package of activities
Reporting into the Team Lead Technical Management the Junior IT Specialist, together with the team of technical managers, will be responsible for the availability, reliability and security of the digital work environment of all Walraven employees at our European locations. As a IT Specialist you have a broad position consisting of operational and project-based activities. You can think of monitoring the performance of our systems and our suppliers, diagnosing and resolving incidents proposing long term solutions, effective knowledge sharing with colleagues and users, developing and implementing improvement actions, planning maintenance and maintaining contacts with suppliers. In addition, you contribute to various projects in the field of infrastructure, routing and networks. The role has objectives in terms of service level agreements, user satisfaction and timely analysed and resolved incidents and changes. The working location is Mijdrecht (Netherlands) or Bayreuth (Germany).

A bachelor or master’s degree in IT or a training as an IT specialist in system integration
(or comparable training) and some (internship) experience in the field is a must-have for this position. You understand the importance of our IT and the business needs. You have the necessary technical knowledge and are prepared to develop further into it. You are also eager to learn and curious and open to new insights and technologies. You can easily connect, build trust and have an excellent command of the English language.
