Base: Walraven Ltd, Banbury

Reporting to: Sales Office Supervisor, Management Team and Customers

Liaise with: Customers, External Sales Team, closely with other departments

Position:

To work as part of the Walraven Ltd, Banbury team providing a comprehensive and effective customer service.

This post demands a sales focused individual with a technical aptitude who is efficient in dealing with customers whilst maintaining a professional approach, upholding the Company’s ethos and values.

The post requires an individual who is a highly motivated and has the ability to structure and prioritise their workload, cover for colleagues and communicate in a timely, clear and concise manner at all times.

Goal:

To enhance the customer experience and exceed their expectations through delivering excellence in customer care and by displaying knowledge of Walraven, its products and suitable application.

Main Duties:

Dealing with/and processing orders (to ERP system) and queries via the telephone, fax and e-mail: ensuring instantaneous communication

Develop high level relationships with customers, and ensure relevant customer data is maintained and stored within the CRM

Raising quotations in preparation to convert to an order, or liaising with the Technical team to ensure the customers’ needs are met

Working closely with relevant Regional Sales Managers (RSM’s) and Area Account Executives (AAE’s) regarding area sales, targets & expectations, concerns and trends

To continually develop the necessary personal skills to undertake a wide range of tasks ensuring flexibility in the workplace

Running of the daily invoicing processes

The post holder will be expected to adopt a flexible attitude to the duties and location of work, which may have to be varied subject to the needs of the Company and in keeping with the general profile of the post. This may entail some work outside office hours.

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment responsibilities:

Ensure that all duties and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Statutory Regulations and Walraven’ s Policies and Procedures. This will be supported by the provision of training and specialist advice where required.

Report all accidents, near misses and possible H&S risks to the H&S Committee or the MT.

Maintain cleanliness in accordance with 5S.

Actively participate in the maintenance of Quality Assurance by reporting all quality issues and following controlled process procedures.

Actively support Walraven’ s Environmental policy by minimising waste, maximising reuse/recycling, ensuring all spills are handled as per company procedure etc.

The Sales office Supervisor will provide 1:1’s and appraisals.
