This year\u2019s report reflects our deepened commitment to transparency, innovation, and long-term impact, aligned with our purpose:\u00a0<em>\u201cWe believe we can make a sustainable difference by building a multinational with a heart.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Highlights from the 2024 Sustainability Report<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Advancing Climate Action<\/strong>: We completed a full Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas assessment in partnership with Greenly, laying the groundwork for science-aligned targets and a climate transition plan in 2025. Despite expanding our reporting scope, we reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 13% and 7%, respectively.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Responsible Products and Innovation<\/strong>: We launched our first Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for key product lines, including Walraven RapidRail\u00ae, RapidStrut\u00ae, and Maxx Heavy Rail Profile. These declarations support our customers in making informed, sustainable choices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>People at the Heart<\/strong>: We continued to invest in our people, with initiatives like the OpenUp mental health program, expanded leadership development, and a renewed focus on diversity and inclusion. Our workforce now spans 1,351 employees across 20 countries.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sustainable Supply Chain<\/strong>: We strengthened our due diligence processes, particularly in high-risk regions, and increased supplier engagement through SEDEX. Our goal is to have 70% of our direct material suppliers enrolled by the end of 2025.<\/li>\n<li><strong>EcoVadis Recognition<\/strong>: EcoVadis recognised our efforts with a Bronze Medal, placing us among the top 35% of rated companies globally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a family-owned company with over 80 years of history, long-term thinking is in our DNA. We are actively preparing for the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), using it as a catalyst to improve data quality, stakeholder engagement, and strategic alignment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSustainability is not a destination, but a continuous journey.
