Marketing Specialist

The Walraven Europe marketing team is in search of a Marketing Specialist to coordinate the creation of marcom materials, and support the organisation with marketing and communication queries and strategies, while ensuring high-level of consistency with the Walraven brand and corporate identity.

Responsibilities

  1. International Marketing Communication & DTP
    The Marketing Specialist

    • Is responsible for coordinating the creation of marcom materials including brochures, flyers, marketing copy, etc. with both external agencies and in-house design colleagues
    • Maintains strong connections with the IMC team and local marketing specialists and takes ownership over the project management of local requests when needed
    • Liaises with printers and suppliers to ensure deadlines are met
  2. Digital Marketing
    The Marketing Specialist

    • Contributes to the digital marketing activities in line with the annual MarCom plan
    • Maintains global social media channels and supports with drafting English copies
    • Pro-actively shares knowledge and best practices in support to building up Walraven’s digital marketing competences (social media usage, analytics, marketing automation deployment, etc).
  3. Project and campaign management
    The Marketing Specialist

    • Coordinates projects and actions in relation to European/Global marketing campaigns.
    • Assists with marketing projects when needed
  4. Business Information Process and Administration
    The Marketing Specialist

    • Updates information on internal SharePoint and social media with the assistance of the Marcom manager
    • Takes care of general office administration including coordination of invoicing and bookkeeping and other marketing related logistics enquiries (e.g printing and order of materials)

What do we offer?

You will be part of the International Marketing & Communications team with 6 direct colleagues including a Digital Marketer, 3 Graphical Designers, Internal communication & Brand manager, and the IMC manager that you will report to. You will also be part of the greater European marketing community including international colleagues from abroad.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Communications or Marketing
  • 2 – 5 years of experience in a similar B2B marketing role
  • Excellent command of English both orally and in writing
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with social media publishing, advertising and content creation
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience with digital tools such as Google Analytics and marketing automation is a plus
  • Good project management skills
  • A clear communicator and a team-player
  • Digital savvy
  • Ability to build productive and long-term relationships
  • Flexible, proactive and a problem solver
  • Has a hands-on and can-do mentality
