Rosario Heating Ltd, a domestic and commercial heating specialist based in London, selected Walraven RapidRail® to support an extensive pipework installation as part of a luxury residential renovation project in Notting Hill.
The prestigious four-storey property was undergoing a major refurbishment, including the addition of a new basement level that would house a heat pump plant room.
Rosario Heating Ltd installed the plant room and extended pipework throughout the entire property to deliver an efficient heating solution. The scale of the project required a support system that installers could fit quickly, while providing flexibility on site and delivering a high-quality finish suitable for a luxury residential environment.
Having successfully used Walraven RapidRail® on previous projects, Rosario Heating Ltd chose the system for its lightweight design, ease of installation and professional appearance.
The installation approach centred on creating prefabricated bracket assemblies on site. The team first measured and planned each section of the installation. They then cut the channel to length and pre-assembled the brackets with end caps, Hammerfix and pipe clamps. Finally, they secured the assemblies to ceilings and walls.
This method enabled the team to assemble and align multiple brackets in advance. As a result, installation progressed more efficiently throughout the property.
The Walraven RapidRail® Hammerfix system also allowed small adjustments after positioning. Installers could easily slide components into place before carrying out the final tightening.
By using Walraven RapidRail® mini channel, Rosario Heating Ltd was able to install extensive pipework efficiently throughout the property while maintaining a high-quality finish.
The prefabricated installation method reduced time on site, improved installation flexibility and simplified adjustments during the build process. Combined with the lightweight channel system, this helped the team deliver a professional and efficient heating installation across all levels of the property.
