 Are electrical installations complex?

Electrical first fix rarely happens on one type of surface. Services may need to run from structural steel and roof purlins, below steel decking, through stud walls and finally onto walls, ceilings or support channel.

Walraven combines purpose-made Walraven Britclips® spring-steel fixings with the Walraven RSWB adjustable bracket and the Walraven starQuick® clamp system. This provides installers practical ways to support electrical services without turning every fixing point into a custom detail.

Choose by substrate

Selecting the correct family of products begins with the structure you are fixing your installations to. Then confirm the supported service and connection method.

Structural steel: beam clips and clamps

Fix directly to a beam flange without welding or drilling. Choose from standalone clips or combinations prepared for cable ties, conduit, threaded rod and light-duty cable tray support

Roof purlins: profile specific hangers

Support services from vertical, Z-shaped, angled or 90-degree purlin profiles. Options are available for threaded rod, chain, hooks and direct service fixing.

Decking: hangers and dovetail fixings

Use wedge nuts or deck hangers where threaded rod suspension is required, or dovetail cable fixings for quick cable and conduit runs. Always match the fixing to the exact deck profile.

Mount electrical boxes

The Walraven RSWB (Rapid Sliding Wall Bracket) is an extendable galvanised-steel support for fast positioning of electrical boxes and conduit between wood or metal studs and floor joists.

Clip conduit and pipe runs

Walraven starQuick® is a self-closing plastic clamp for conduit and lightweight pipework. It can be reopened by hand and combined with accessories for direct fixing, support rail, strut or threaded rod.
