Vacancy Application Manager (Europe)

Your role
As an Application Manager, you are responsible for the performance, availability and continuous improvement of a set of business-critical applications across Europe.
You work closely with colleagues from different countries, key users, IT teams and external vendors. You are not only solving issues but also acting as a partner in improvement and innovation.
What will you do?
Application management & continuity
- Ensure applications run stable, secure and in line with SLA agreements
- Monitor performance and act proactively on incidents
- Analyze root causes and prevent recurring issues
Improvement & optimization
- Identify opportunities to improve systems and processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement and system enhancements
- Support implementation of new or updated applications
Stakeholder management
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and vendors
- Coordinate changes and ensure clear communication
- Support and guide key users
Monitoring & processes
- Provide insights through dashboards and reporting
- Work according to ITIL processes (incident, problem, change, release)
- Maintain documentation and knowledge sharing
Security & authorization
- Manage user access and ensure compliance with security standards
- Safeguard data integrity and system security
Projects
- Participate in IT projects and (depending on seniority) lead initiatives
- Support system implementations and improvements
What do you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level (IT or similar)
- Experience in application management in an international environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Office365, SharePoint and BI tools
- Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks
- Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
- Fluent in English
