Manufacturing Director Europe (fulltime)

strategic – modular– operational management – production heart– people manager

In the role of Manufacturing Director Europe, you are part of the European Management team, reporting to the Managing Director Europe with a functional reporting line to the Global Director Manufacturing & Sourcing. You bridge between Manufacturing and Commercial, working closely with the director integrated construction Solutions, sales entities, product management, manufacturing technology, supply chain and sourcing. You will take responsibility for the strategic deployment and operational execution of manufacturing, with a specific focus on the production and delivery of modular solutions & prefabricated systems. In the role you will manage the plants in Mijdrecht, Turkey, Spain and UK and will supervise the EU manufacturing operation, from planning to execution and analysis of production outcomes. In the role you will be accountable to maximize productivity and efficiency – jointly with the Global Director M&S, Walraven Technologies and the Manufacturing Director Supplier.

In a nutshell: you will strategically build and lead Walravens future modular manufacturing organization and footprint in Europe aligned with the Global Director Manufacturing & Sourcing and Commercial Stakeholders

What makes you our ideal candidate?

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, BA or similar and minimum 5 years’ experience in an Operational Management leadership role on Director level. You breathe production, with proven experience in leading, maintaining and optimisation of complex productions processes. You posess strong knowledge and experience with WCM elements, TPM, LEAN and/or Six Sigma. Besides, you can think and act strategically, taking a holistic view with the ability to translate this pragmatically. Last but not least, as a strong motivator and people manager you know how to transform an organization and develop the team.
