Supply Chain – Logistics Manager (Europe)

In our Walraven Europe organisation, we are looking for a:

Supply Chain – Logistics Manager (Europe)
Warehouse & logistics footprint – change management – leadership

Will you play a key role in improving the service level and flow of goods within the Warehouses Finished Goods, through implementation of the
Warehouse & Logistics footprint in Europe, driving a standardized way of working around 5S in the warehouses, developing our logistics teams?

What is your role?

You will be responsible to co-develop and implement the Warehouse & Logistics Footprint in Europe and create and execute a sustainable roadmap for transportation & warehousing in Europe. You will be responsible for the day to day operations in the 8 (finished goods) Warehouses in Europe, working closely with the teams to align and improve the warehouse & logistics processes throughout the various warehouses in Europe. One of the key responsibilities is to oversee and manage respective logistic projects leading to continuous improvement, and standardization in our way of working. This will all result in reduction of our operational cost of Warehouse & Logistics and the establishment of the future logistic footprint, and is part of your responsibility.

The SC-Logistics Manager EU is part of the Supply Chain team, and reports to the Supply Chain Director Europe. This person will lead the team of local logistics managers in our entities, in close collaboration with respective local management.

The role can be located in any of our main Walraven locations in Europe.

You have finalized a Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain or related field.
With 5 to 10 years + experience in a leadership role in logistics.
You have experience with 5S implementation in an organization, installing a 5S culture.
You know how to manage a transformation, and are strategically strong.
You are a positive and energetic people manager and coach, able to take up a team in transformation.
You keep a sharp eye on results.

Travel is required for the role and a prerequisite is to speak and write English fluently.
