Walraven wins Business Intelligence Award 2010

The Walraven Group is pleased to announce that they were recently voted the "smartest organization in the Netherlands of 2010." The BI Award was granted by a professional jury and a people's vote on the Internet.

The award was presented October 5th 2010 on the last day of the BI symposium. The jury praised the Walraven Group for the position that it has established in its industry through the use of business intelligence.

Jan van Walraven, Managing Director of the Walraven Group, is very pleased with the recognition. "We want to excel and to lead our competition, so we need to have a good understanding of our business and especially ensure we have correct information. This information allows us to take well founded decisions and ensures that objectives can be reached. Business intelligence is used to gather information from the different systems in our organization, it is a tool to combine and visualize."

Tino Hartsink, ICT manager of the Walraven Group, is delighted: "We won because of business intelligence obtained within Walraven is not limited to a department or establishment, but envolves the entire company. But most important is that BI has helped us - and still helps - to achieve much better results. It refers to not only financial results but also fun: working with good info is fun and it gives a great kick when you see that your business runs better."
