Royal Honour for Jan van Walraven
Jan van Walraven, General Manager of the Walraven Group, has been honoured in the recent “rain of titles” for Queens Day 2009. Proud congratulations go to Jan van Walraven on his appointment as a member of the Order of Orange-Nassau.
Jan van Walraven received this honour for the considerable time he has worked for the benefit of society and recognition of his contribution in ecclesiastical, social and managerial fields:
He was a chairman of the social welfare work for the Reformed church community in Mijdrecht, and therefore member of the executive committee. Between 1984 and 1995 Jan was chief of the voluntary fire brigade Mijdrecht. Alongside these social activities he was also a board member of the local Rabobank, regional committee and the national Rabobank parlement.
Jan van Walraven received the decorations on the 8th of May.
