We are pleased to announce the publication of the Walraven 2025 Sustainability Report, showcasing the progress made across products, people and operations as sustainability continues to become an integral part of the business.
The report highlights the actions taken over the past year to support responsible growth, reduce environmental impact and create long-term value for customers, colleagues and communities.
Here you can find the highlights and main areas of improvement for 2025.
One of the key milestones highlighted in the report is Walraven’s achievement of the EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing the company among the top 15% of organisations assessed worldwide by EcoVadis.
The award recognises the progress made across a range of sustainability areas, particularly environmental performance, supported by clear targets, renewable energy initiatives and ISO 14001-certified management systems.
Across Walraven’s many locations, teams have continued to implement practical improvements designed to reduce environmental impact and improve efficiency. These include:
As part of its commitment to continuous improvement, Walraven has established science-aligned performance targets for 2028, benchmarked against 2024 levels.
These include:
These targets have been incorporated into both business and local action plans across the organisation.
Recognising that steel represents the largest share of its environmental footprint, Walraven continues to focus on increasing recycled content of products, reducing material use where possible and sourcing lower-emission steel.
2025 also saw the successful publication of Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s), across core products delivering 32% of Walraven’s European revenue. Helping customers better understand the environmental impact of the products they specify and install.
Transport is another huge impact on company emissions. In 2025 a new freight platform was introduced to optimise transport routes and reduce unnecessary movements, helping to lower emissions across its logistics network.
Alongside environmental initiatives, Walraven continues to invest in the wellbeing and development of its people through programmes focused on health and safety, fair pay, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion
Sustainability remains a key part of Walraven’s long-term strategy. The 2025 Sustainability Report demonstrates the progress already being made while setting a clear direction for the future.
